Adventures in Saying Yes: A Journey from Fear to Faith by Carl Medearis

The Medearis family have not had the easiest life, they have lived
through some very challenging and life threatening situations. From
Middle Eastern prisons, being kick out of a country multiple times,
death threats, and more. But they did not let fear stop them. And through the book you get to see some of their interesting life stories. But this book is not
only the stories of their life, but it is also a guild about stepping out and
doing things in faith instead of standing by in fear.
Even though I normally do not review many books like this, I thought this one looked interesting so I gave it a try. And I must say I am really glad I did! Even though I may not agree with the author on everything, I really like how it talked about overcoming fear with faith. It was a good look at stepping out in faith instead of standing by and letting fear take over. Plus I really enjoyed hearing all the stories about the life of the author and his family. They sometimes went through some hard stuff or things that did not turn out like planned. But they also went through some amazing things that I probably never would have seen coming! The story was woven together well and made for a good book!
I received this book free from Bethany House for my honest review. The opinions are my own.
