Today we have a interview with Rachel Rossano! Be sure to check out the wonderful books she has published by clicking here.

Hi Rachel, What are some of your newest books you have published?
The most recent releases have all been sequels.
In the beginning of this year, I published Honor: Second Novel of Rhynan, which is a standalone sequel to Duty. It is a medieval romantic adventure between a man who excels at defending the throne and a woman who doesn’t want to marry the men her family is choosing for her.
At the end of last year, I published the second installment of the Theodoric Saga, The King of Anavrea. It is also a standalone novel with appearances of previous characters in the series thrown in to the mix. Ireic Theodoric didn’t want the throne. But now that he has it, a political marriage seems to be the best answer to many of his problems. What he didn’t bargain for was gaining a bride who would cause more problems than she solved.

What is your favorite book you have written? What is it about?
My favorite is usually the one I am currently working on at the time. Right now I have quite a few. I am working on an anthology built around the hero in Honor with the working title of The Making of a Man. I am also quite enthralled with my science fiction project, Diaspora, which is a prequel to my published short story, Exchange. Then there is the epic-sized inspirational speculative fiction Living Sacrifice also demanding my affections. The literary love life of an author is a complicated thing.

Who is your favorite character in the book you listed in the question above, and why?

He is such a complicated character that is has taken a novel and an anthology for me to scratch the surface of his personality, and he is still surprising me. Despite his annoying habits, he is a delightful man.

Do you have any new books you are working on?
Oh, yes, I am always working on something. The Making of a Man anthology is on the brink of completion. The next novel of Rhynan is going to begin any day. Diaspora is just getting complicated and interesting. And, Living Sacrifice is finally winding down to an ending…I hope. Oh, and I can’t forget The Reward of Anavrea, the next installment in The Theodoric Saga. It is waiting patiently for a final edit before I give it to my editor and chief, my husband. His approval is the last hurtle before publication.

Thank you for doing an interview with us Rachel, do you have any final thoughts you would like to share?

Thank you so much for having me. I love meeting new people and hearing about what they think of my characters and books. Any one is free to comment on my FB page or blog. Until then, enjoy the journey and keep reading.
