   Book Description Grace Martindale has known more than her share of hardship. After her parents died, raising her two younger sisters, Hope and Mercy, became her responsibility. As the death toll rises, so do tensions between the settlers and the natives, and Grace soon finds herself and those she loves in more danger than she imagined possible.    My Review Tracie Peterson done a wonderful job with this book! It is well written and has memorable characters.The plot and speed of the story were great. And it was hard to put the book down! Although some of the events that took place were hard to hear about. But Tracie Peterson handled a hard time in history nicely, and the book never got into to many details. It was a great book and I highly recommend it!        I received this book free from Bethany House Publishers for my honest review. The opinions are my own.
