The Pilgrims have an amazing history. Their story includes many different points in history and a collection of many different people. And as their story unfolds you can see the hardships they went through, and the amazing blessings they received. Their life coming to America was not easy, and it is an interesting story that should always be remembered.

Even though this book was nonfiction it was really interesting and had a good story feel. Instead of following one or two characters around it gave more of an overview of the events and people. Which works wonderfully for getting into the story, while still keeping it as historically accurate as possible. But one small problem with this book is that when it starts it jumps around a lot through different people and different events. Giving you a lot of names to sort through and events to place together. If you already know a lot about all of the people and events that lead up to the Pilgrims move to the new world then you should be fine with this book. But if it is not something you know a lot about it can take awhile before the story starts to flow together.

I received this book free from the publisher, Thomas Nelson,  through the BookLook Bloggers book review program. The opinions are my own.
