My Review

Elizabeth Camden is one of my favorite authors, so this is a book I was excitingly waiting for. This story had a very interesting plot that kept my interest, and I loved seeing where the twists and turns would take me. Caroline, Nathaniel, and the others really brought the story to life. And I enjoyed getting to know them.

I also really enjoyed getting a closer look at this point in history through the viewpoint of the characters. Especially since it took place in Washington during a very interesting era. I would probably recommend reading book one in this series before beginning this one. But I definitely recommend this book, and I am already looking forward to the next one in the series!

I received this book free through NetGalley from Bethany House Publishers for my honest review. The opinions are my own.
