Book Description

Belle has returned unannounced to the castle to restore her relationship with the king, her father. Her hopes are dashed with the devastating message: "The king refuses to see you." Convinced that God has led her home, she is unwilling to return to Lord and Lady Kiralyn.

Time is running out for the decision that will change her life. When tragedy strikes, will she and her father be pulled further apart or knit together? Could she stay at the castle even if she will never see her father again?

My Review

This was an amazing retelling of Beauty and the Beast. I normally enjoy reading a good retelling, but this one surprised me. I almost liked the plot twists this book took more then the originally story! The characters were wonderfully done, and fit in perfectly with the theme of Beauty and the Beast.

After leaving the castle as a child, it took a surprising twist to bring Belle back to her childhood home. Everyone at the castle was in for a big surprise when she arrived out of the blue, but the message from the King was equally surprising for Belle. It was really interesting to see how Belle's return changed things. It got to the point were the decisions that were made would either bring her family back together, or tear it apart for good. And no one ever said the choices would be easy. But if she is diligent to follow the leading that brought her home again, there just might be a chance at a happily ever after.

I received this book free from the author, Amanda Tero, for my honest review. The opinions are my own.

About Amanda

Amanda Tero began her love for words at a young age—reading anything she could get her
hands on and penning short stories as young as age eight. Since graduation, she has honed her
writing skills by dedicated practice and study of the writing craft. She began her journey of
publication with a few short stories that she had written for her sisters and continued to add to
her collection with other short stories, novellas, and novels. It is her utmost desire to write that
which not only pleases her Lord and Savior, but also draws the reader into a deeper relationship
with Jesus Christ.
