Grace Raber was a 18 year old girl with dreams for the future. But all that changed when grace was faced with the hard choose of saving her family's farm that was in debt to Silas Beiler. He would forget there debt and even help her family, but only if she married him.
Then 9 years later, as a newly widowed Mother, she moved away to Pine Creek Pennsylvania. But she is followed by her former husband's evil Brother. Who will have a tight hold on her and her son if she is not married within 6 months of her husband's death, because of the will Silas left. But when Seth Wyse, a young man in Pine Creek who had been trying to get Grace's attention for months, hears about it he offers to marry her. She does need help but after her hard, sad, past could their life together ever work.
I really loved this book! It must be one of the best Amish books I have ever read! It was very well written and even had a glossary of Pennsylvania Dutch words and phrases in the front of the book! You don't really know what happened in her past, instead you learn it along with the other people in the story. I think Kelly Long did a really good job with it. And with her Brother-in-law out there still trying to come up with a plan on how to get Grace, there are some twists and surprises mixed in! It was a wonderful book and I highly recommend it!

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. The opinions are my own.
