Beginner Spinning Classes
Come learn how to spin your own amazing yarn with a drop spindle! I have some upcoming beginner spinning classes being held in the classroom at HobbyLobby on W Kearney in Springfield, MO.
Spindles are a very fun and portable way to spin. Giving you the freedom to take your spinning with you almost anywhere. And today spinners have nearly unlimited options with amazing fibers from around the world to try. Making it possible to spin a fine linen thread, a bouncy wool art yarn, or anything in between!
In this class you will get introduced to drop spindles and learn
how to spin and ply yarn made from lovely soft wool. By the end of the
class you should be able to spin both single ply and two ply yarns.
Giving you a good foundation for a new hobby that is as useful as it is
fun!
The class fee is $30 and includes a free spindle and fiber pack for you to use during class and then take home with you. Below is a list of upcoming class dates. Although I am also happy to set you up a private class for a different day/time that would work better for you.
