What could be better then a hot bowl of soup on a cold evening? But if you are tired of canned soup why not try this recipe for home made soup!!
Home Made Soup
3-4 potatoes
3 stocks of celery
1 carrot
2 teaspoons of salt
2 cups precooked beans
1 cup precooked chicken cut in large chunks
Rinse the potatoes, celery, and the carrot. Then peel and cut up the potatoes
into small/medium cubes, and cut your celery and carrot into "coins" then
cut then to make them all about the same size you can cut the "coins" in half
or fourths. Next put all your potatoes, celery, carrots, and salt in a large pot
and fill it with water until your vegetables are covered. [or if you want a thinner
soup you can add about a 1/2 inch more water above the vegetables] Now
cook for about 30 minutes on mid-high or until the potatoes are barley done. Then
add your precooked beans and precooked chicken chunks and cook for about 10
more minutes. Enjoy!

Here is a simple recipe for home made Apple Sauce!! And it is a great way to use up apples that are old and about to go to waste!!
Home Made Apple Sauce
About 10 apples [fresh or old]
Peel all your apples and cut off any bad spots if you are using old ones.
Then quarter your apples and cut the core out. Now put them all in a
pot and fill it with water until you have half as much water in your pot
as you do apples, and cook until they are really soft and you can stick
a toothpick in them very easy. Now just dump the water and apples in
your sieve and rice them through. And when it cools it should become
thicker. [But if you want it even thicker just less water.]

If you ever would like to try your hand at making home made chip dip you should try this really easy garlic dip!!
Garlic Dip
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 nice sized garlic clove
1/2 Tablespoon parsley flakes
Mix together your mayo and yogurt, then chop your garlic up super fine.
Now dump in your chopped garlic and parsley flakes in your mayo mix
and mix them in. Then put in the fridge and let it marinade for 1 hour,
then enjoy!! But please note that after it has had more time to marinade,
like overnight, it should get a more strong flavor.

Home Made Hot Chocolate
3 Tablespoons of coco powder [the kind for baking]
6 Tablespoons of sugar
A pinch of salt
1 and a half cups milk
Mix the first 3 things in a pan, then slowly add the milk a tiny bit

Since today is Thanksgiving I thought I would post a recipe for home made cranberry sauce!!
Cranberry Sauce
3, 12oz, Bags of fresh Cranberries
2 Cups brown sugar [not packed ]
Put all your Cranberries in a pot and rinse them, then drain off the
rinse water. Then with your cranberries flat carefully make a little
hole in the middle of them so you can see the bottom of your pot.
Then fill your pot with water until your hole is about half full. Next stir
in the 2 cups of sugar and cook over medium heat until the berries
have split open and the sauce is thick. Then dump them is a sieve and
rice them through. Pour into a serving bowl and enjoy!!

This week I am posting my Mom's recipe for home made Granola cereal!! It is really good and I like to put chocolate chips in mine. :)
Home Made Granola Cereal
3 Cups of Oats
1/4 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Honey
1/2 Cup of Coconut [optional]
1/2 Cup of nuts [optional]
Pour your Oats in mixing bowl and then pour the oil on them and toss
until all your Oats are coated. Next add your Honey and mix well. It
should be looking lumpy now. If it is not you can add a little extra
honey. Now add your Coconut and nuts if you are using them. Then
put it all on a ungreased cookie sheet and cook at 300 for about 30
minutes, stirring once about half through cooking. Then let it set and
cool, but do not stir it while it is cooling because it needs to clump up
like granola is suppose to. After it has cooled give it a litter stir and enjoy!!

For this weeks recipe I have picked one that is very simple and tasty!! And you only need a few things to make it!!
Hotdog Wraps
Hotdogs
Small Burrito Shells
Cheddar Cheese
Salsa Sauce or other such stuff if you want
Put your hotdogs on to cook, and put your burrito shells in the oven
to warm. Cut your cheese into slices that are not to much wider than
your hotdogs. When your hotdogs and shells are ready put some slices
of your cheese near one end of your burrito shell about as long as your
hotdog is, and put a hotdog on top of the cheese, and then you
can put salsa sauce or something like that on top if you want, then
roll it up and enjoy!!
