Shiloh Griffin was a pastor’s wife and Mother of a wonderful
bunch of kids. And she loves her roles. But when the opportunity for her to help
by teaching music at a local high school comes up she thinks it might be just
what she is needing.
And that is when Shiloh meets Monica, a fifteen year old
girl who lost her Mother a few years back. Monica is a wonderful girl and Shiloh
helps mentor her to prepare for a big music event that was coming up. But when
she finds out Monica is Pregnant, Shiloh much face her own dark secret she has
been hiding about 20 years to help the girl.
I have to say, I enjoyed this book
even more than I thought I would! There were some surprises, twists and turns, that I would have never guessed were coming! And I liked the point of
view it comes from, even though Shiloh had made mistakes when she was young, she
knows what is right and she tries to do it.
And even though this is the second book
in the Winds of Change series it was a great book and I did not feel like I hopped
into the middle of a story. It was a very nice book and I highly recommend
it!
I received this book free from the publisher, Zondervan, through
the BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. The opinions are my own.
