Tilly and her sister Ruth both left their Amish life behind years ago. Tilly has married since leaving the Amish and now has identical twin daughters. And when Ruth needed out Tilly helped her leave as well. Something Tilly's family is still sad over. Ruth has remained single so far since joining Tilly in the English would. Still smarting over what happened with her first beau before leaving the Amish. But when they return home for their parents landmark wedding anniversary they must face the people, and secrets, they left there long ago.
I love books by Beverly Lewis so I had to get this one! Although it did sound a little on the sad side so I was not sure how good it would be. But I have to say I really enjoyed it. It was written very well and I liked the timing of when things happened. And the trouble the characters went through felt real. It was another great book by Beverly Lewis and I definitely recommend it!
