This new story takes place in Lauraine Snelling's wonderful Red River Valley setting. So you get to see what happens with some of your favorite characters and meet some new ones. Trygve Knutson loves his family and their small town named Blessing. But sometimes he still dreams of what lies over the horizons.

Miriam Hastings may not have wanted to leave her family in Chicago. But to further her practical training to be a nurse she was sent to the small town of Blessing. But she looks forward to returning to the Chicago women's hospital for a position so she can support her siblings and sick mother. But she surprisingly finds she likes the little town of Blessing, and just maybe someone she met there. But when a emergency calls Miriam home, will her future be forever changed?

To Everything a Season by Lauraine Snelling is not just the story you read about on the back cover. It has a lot of things happening and many surprises! I would never had guessed so many great things were in store when I started the book. The book was well written and was good at filling me in on the past info I would need. Although I really love this story line and wish I could have read the Red River of the North series first. So I could enjoy the whole journey from the start and everything. But even as a stand alone novel this book done well and I really enjoyed it!

I received this book free from Bethany House for my honest review. The opinions are my own.
