Anna O'Brien loved her job as a map librarian at the Library of Congress. She enjoyed quietly working in the map room by helping people find the information they need. But when she ran across a mystery about a ship that disappeared years ago information is the last thing she can find. She keeps getting stopped at ever turn, and finds out that continuing the search could be very dangerous. But being determined to find the truth she turns to a congressman for help.

Luke Callahan has been losing ground on his once powerful spot in congress. Although he tries to make the best of it, and is working to save whats left of his job. When he meets the lovely map librarian he knows he would like to get to know her. But he also needs her help to find information that he hopes will help save his career. Although when he begins to help Anna with the mystery of the missing ship he may find out more than he planned.

Beyond All Dreams by Elizabeth Camden is a great book! The story was very well done, and I really enjoyed it. The characters felt very real and it was easy for me to relate with Anna. It had a good mystery in the story, and some shocking surprises that I would never had guessed. Plus I love the time period the book takes place in. Which was around the late 1890's when the Library of Congress was moved into it's amazing new building. Beyond All Dreams was a wonderful book and I highly recommend it!

I received this book free from Bethany House for my honest review. The opinions are my own.
