Brothers and Betrayal (Tales of Taelis Book 2) by Sarah Holman

    Bryon needed a safe place for himself and his sisters to hide for awhile. So he took his sisters and fled into the woods trying to find the person known as The Archer. The person who recently killed his older brother could be after the rest of his siblings now. But even though Bryon may find temporary safety from the person who killed his brother, bitterness still threatens to take root. And that could lead to even more danger.   Brianna tries her hardest to help the people of Taelis. But her father, the king, does not seem to care how his actions affect his people. Making it very dangerous for Brianna to help behind the scenes. But even though she understands the dangers she still works hard to help save the kingdom from falling apart and going into war. But what few people know is she also secretly helps The Archer.   I was very excited when I got the chance to read Sarah Holman's newest book, Brothers and Betrayal! I loved the other books I have read by her, and this book did not let me down! I have not read the first book in the Tales of Taelis series yet, but this book was wonderful even by it's self. It had a great Robin Hood type of theme to it, and I loved the characters. Their personalities and the way they dealt with trouble made for a amazing book. It's enough to make you stop and think when you see how they acted upon what they truly believe no matter the personal cost. And personally I liked this book even more than the other Robin Hood stories I have heard! It has a new twist to it and Sarah Holman did a great job. And now I can not wait until the next book comes out in the Tales of Taelis series.
