Eva Esch and her sisters are not sure what to do. With their father and mother both passed on, her older brother now plans on moving his family into the farm house. But that would not leave enough room for the 3 unmarried sisters to also continue living there. He thought for sure at least one of them would marry during the up coming wedding season. But things may not work out the way he planned.

When Eva's sister, Lily, disappears one night their world is turned upside down. Their family tries their hardest to find her, but there are very few clues left behind. Meanwhile Jed Stutzman, a buggy maker, is on his way to Pennsylvania to continue learning more about his line of work. But on the way to Pennsylvania he stumbles a crossed a forbidden photo of a Amish girl that may change his life.

I am a big fan of Beverly Lewis, so I was really excited to read her new book! It was a sweet story of faith, family, and love. It was really interesting the way Lily's disappearance brought around the meeting of Eva and Jed. The characters were wonderfully done, and I could relate to them. And the way the secrete about Lily's whereabouts was kept was well done. It kept me wondering where Lily was right along with the other characters. And the things that were happening back at home with Eva and her family/community felt very real. It is another wonderful book by Beverly Lewis, and I highly recommend it!

I received this book free from Bethany House Publishers for my honest review. The opinions are my own.
