Mermaid Moon by Colleen Coble

 

  Mallory Davis has stayed away from her childhood home for fifteen years. But when her father's last words to her were "Find mother" it turns her world upside down. Her father had mysteriously died on his mail boat, and she believes he was murdered. But things get even more suspicious when she and her daughter start receiving threats. But even with the help of Kevin O’Conno, her childhood sweetheart and now Game Warden, the clock is ticking. If they can not find the truth out soon it may be to late.   I love all of the other books I have read that are by Colleen Coble. So I was super excited to get "Mermaid Moon"! It was another wonderfully written book with great characters. I also love the details about the setting. I have never been to Maine before, and I love getting a peek into that area with this story. It was so beautiful sounding I wish I could really go there! And the mystery in this book was great. It kept taking twists and turns that I never seen coming! I also like the message the book is getting at. But even though I know Mallory and Kevin's relationship was a very important part of the story, at times it just felt like it was a bit much. But other than that it was an amazing story and I really enjoyed it.     I received this book free from the publisher, Thomas Nelson,  through the BookLook Bloggers book review program.
