Book Description
Motherless and raised alongside her brothers, Alanah, a Canaanite, is no stranger to fighting. When her father and brothers are killed in battle with the Hebrews, she disguises herself and sneaks onto the battlefield to avenge her family. The one thing she never counted on was surviving.

Tobiah, a Hebrew warrior, has spent his share of time on the battlefield and is shocked to find an unconscious woman among the casualties. Compelled to bring her to a healer back at the Hebrew camp, he's unprepared for the consequences of what he intended as an act of compassion.

In order to survive, Alanah must unite with her enemy. But will a terrible revelation drive her toward an even greater danger?

My Review
This was the first time I have tried reading biblical fiction. And "Wings of the Wind" was so wonderful that I plan on keeping it for many years to come! This story had many different events taking place in it. And right when I thought it might not have much more coming, the whole story changed in ways I never seen coming! The plot was wonderful, the setting felt very real, and the characters were easy to connect with. I loved getting to see what life back then may have been like. This book really brought history to life in an amazing way. And I am already excited to see what the next book by Connilyn Cossette will be about.

I received this book free from Bethany House Publishers for my honest review. The opinions are my own.
