Qiviut Fiber    Qiviut fiber is the fine soft undercoat of the muskox. It comes in a lovely soft gray brown color naturally. And it is one of the most luxurious fibers in the world, with it being finer than even cashmere. It is a lightweight and breathable fiber that is also amazingly warm, with it being 8 times warmer than wool! It even retains warmth when it is wet.
And amazingly it is not irritating to the skin, it is very durable, will not shrink, and it is even hypoallergenic. What more could you ask for when looking for an extremely rare and unique fiber? It is a wonderful fiber to use when you are wanting to make a special project that will last for years to come. And when made into a lovely garment or other project it does not shed and it is also odorless.
